PROMENADES INTÉRIEURES
Description
Promenades Intérieures (PI) is a cultural mediation activity that introduces movement through the awakening of the body, which contributes to physical well-being and stimulates creativity. The project allows the creation of a personal choreography that takes the form of a short solo to be shared at the end of the process. The sharing of solos is optional and is done with respect for each participant.
PI takes the form of creative workshops in contemporary dance, either online or in person. For 10 weeks and at a rate of a weekly meeting of 90 minutes, the company supervises a group of people in the creation of an original work. This is a unique activity, with original content, built with the participants that engages their creativity in the emergence of a dance that is their own.
PI meetings are structured to allow:
- An awakening of the body where the dancers will prepare the participants to (re)discover their mobility and to reenchant their physical sensibility at home and within themselves.
- Situational exercises and research on themes associated with body health and dance (breathing and rhythm, confidence and feeling of space in the gesture, improvisation, memory, creativity, etc.).
- A creation (guided and supported by professionals) so that participants can generate a dance and create their own dancing poetry.
